My name is Oleg Roshchin, and my story with FIMI started when I bought an X8 Pro drone from them in January 2024. I paid the full price and the drone has not been delivered to me even as of the end of May 2024. The whole problem with my purchase is that FIMI didn't have a C1 certificate for Europe, and doesn't seem to have one now in May 2024 either. I am somewhat of a professional in disputes, I live in the Baltic countries region, in the EU. I spent a lot of effort and time before realising a simple truth: FIMI is not interested in the internal problems of the EU and its domestic customers. Now I want everyone in the EU and the world to recognise FIMI's true policy towards its customers.
What is this site for?
FIMI doesn't seems as though it understands at all how things work in the EU. But the relevant EU agencies are also very, very badly run. So this site is designed to give the FIMI drone buyer as much information as possible before they buy a drone.
Are FIMI drones good?
After not becoming a FIMI X8 Pro owner, I bought and own a FIMI X8 SE 2022 V2 drone. Part of my problems were solved by this replacement. As we probably all know, FIMI drones are rare in their class, which can officially fly in rain and snowfall, and can also lift loads of up to 250 grams. My drone proved it all. The FIMI engineers are probably the only bright spot on FIMI, but I take my hat off to them in honour of their technical genius. And I didn't find anything else good. Let me emphasise: I personally paid for 2 drones, and I only own one, the oldest of them. But it's still a good one!
If FIMI drones are so good, why is this site needed?
Besides very good technical solutions, FIMI drones have another obvious positive feature: they are cheaper than some of their competitors. This is probably the root of all FIMI's problems - they cut all costs, avoid warranties and are not very good at service. It is my directo and my duty to inform all my fellow countrymen in the EU about who is really behind FIMI. But I will not make any recommendations. Evaluate everything yourself and make your own decisions responsibly but independently.
